Workout of the week: 002 – Cardio Boosting HIIT Circuit

It’s no secret that high-intensity interval training (HIIT) is one of the most effective ways to tone your body and improve your cardiovascular health. But what if we told you that there’s a way to make HIIT even more effective?Enter: the cardio boosting HIIT circuit.

This HIIT circuit is designed to get your heart rate up and keep it there, helping you burn more calories and fat in the process. And the best part? It only takes 20 minutes to complete!

The cardio boosting HIIT circuit consists of four exercises that you’ll perform for 30 seconds each, with a 60-second rest in between. The exercises are:

  1. Jumping jacks
  2. Burpees
  3. High knees
  4. Butt kickers

Start by doing as many jumping jacks as you can for 30 seconds. Then, without resting, move on to burpees. Again, do as many as you can for 30 seconds.

Next, it’s time for high knees. Run in place, making sure to bring your knees up to hip level with each step. After 30 seconds, rest for 60 seconds.

Finally, finish strong with butt kickers. Just like high knees, except you’ll be kicking your heels back towards your butt with each step.

Do this circuit three times through for a total of 20 minutes, and we guarantee you’ll be sweating by the end!
